Day 1
Casablanca Airport - Chefchaouen
A member of our team will meet you when you arrive at Casablanca International Airport, and we’ll then drive you to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains, an open plateau cut through by numerous ravines and valleys. Once there, you’ll be stunned by the city’s breathtaking beauty, with everything being dramatically placed while gradually ascending the mountains. Activate your cameras! It is Morocco’s blue Jewel. A night in Chefchaouen with breakfast included
Day 2
Chefchaouen - Fes
We’ll leave your riad after breakfast around 8 AM and head for Fes, where our local guide will show you the country’s oldest medina, which dates back to the eighth century. You will stroll through the Medina’s confined, meandering cobblestone streets, where donkeys serve as the primary form of transportation. The oldest university in the world, the University of Al Karaouine, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains, the renowned tanneries, the King’s Palace, the Jewish Quarter, and the ceramics cooperative to view traditional Moroccan crafts are all included in your tour. After dark, the tour comes to an end. A night in Fes with breakfast is included.
Day 3
Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Rissani - Camel ride in Merzouga desert
Follow the caravan routes from your riad in the southeast to Merzouga. Views of the Middle Atlas and Upper Atlas mountains are seen on this journey. You’ll travel to the greatest cedar forest over the Middle Atlas Mountains to view wild apes. As you stop for lunch in Midelt, the scenery will change as you go into the vast, broad high desert to Er Rachidia. Drive through the renowned Tafilalet date palm estate and the Ziz Valley. This region is home to the present royal family, the Alaouite dynasty. You will be greeted with mint tea by Merzouga in the late afternoon.
Day 4
Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Dades valley
Your camel guide will wake you up in the morning so you can witness the magnificent sunrise over the sand dunes. One of the highlights of the trip was this encounter. You’ll ride your camels back to the town of Merzouga after eating breakfast amidst the Saharan sand dunes. Then, after stopping to take pictures of the Jewish-built kasbahs in the Todghra Valley and Gorges, we will begin our drive to the Dades Valley. Before continuing to the Dades Valley, you will get the opportunity to stroll through the magnificent Todghra Gorges. Dinner and breakfast are included in the Dades Valley overnight stay.
Day 5
Dades valley - Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka – Marrakech
After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll travel to Marrakech via the Dades Valley once more, which features striking rock formations and historic kasbahs, and the Rose Valley, which is famous for its April harvest of damask roses. We’ll continue on our journey to Ouarzazate, also referred to as African Hollywood, where you may see the Taourirt kasbah and have a studio tour. After that, we’ll proceed to the Ait ben Haddou Ksar, the largest ksar in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where scenes from The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Jewel of the Nile were filmed. The Tichka Pass, one of Morocco’s highest mountains, is where we travel from there to Marrakech. arriving in the late afternoon in Marrakech.
