Casablanca to Merzouga Desert tours 4 days
A member of our crew will meet you at the Casablanca airport and drive you over the high road to Fes, where you may explore the oldest Moroccan Medina, which dates back to the eighth century. You will stroll through the Medina’s confined, meandering cobblestone streets, where donkeys serve as the primary form of transportation.
The oldest university in the world, the University of Al Karaouine, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains, the renowned tanneries, the King’s Palace, the Jewish Quarter, and the ceramics cooperative to view traditional Moroccan crafts are all included in your tour. After dark, the tour comes to an end. A night in Fes with breakfast included.
We will go to the Sahara Desert in the morning, stopping first in Ifrane, sometimes known as Little Switzerland. After there, we’ll proceed through the Cedar Forest, where you might encounter monkeys if you’re lucky. We’ll then travel to Midelt so you may eat lunch there.
Drive further across the Middle Atlas Mountains while keeping an eye out for the local nomads. We continue the trip through the picturesque, palm-tree-lined Ziz Valley, stopping at beautiful sights along the route. We will then proceed to the last station, the Sahara desert. Dinner and breakfast are included in the Merzouga overnight stay.
Your camel guide will wake you up in the morning so you can witness the magnificent sunrise over the sand dunes. One of the highlights of the trip was this encounter. You’ll ride your camels back to the town of Merzouga after eating breakfast amidst the Saharan sand dunes.
Then, after stopping to take pictures of the Jewish-built kasbahs in the Todghra Valley and Gorges, we will begin our drive to the Dades Valley. Before continuing to the Dades Valley, you will get the opportunity to stroll through the magnificent Todghra Gorges. Dinner and breakfast are included in the Dades Valley overnight stay.
After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll travel to Marrakech via the Dades Valley once more, which features striking rock formations and historic kasbahs, and the Rose Valley, which is famous for its April harvest of damask roses.
